How to wear your Jewelry

We recommend removing your jewelry before sleeping or engaging in physical activity. It should not be worn while swimming or showering.

Avoid exposure to substances and environments that may affect the finish of your jewelry, including perspiration, perfumes, hair sprays, cleaning agents, chlorine, and salt water. Contact with such elements may gradually compromise the surface of the piece.

How to store your Jewelry

Jewelry should be stored away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. We recommend keeping each piece in a lined jewelry box, a tarnish-resistant pouch, or a polyethylene zip-lock bag to minimize exposure to air.

Avoid storing jewelry in humid environments, such as bathrooms. Please note that BONVO packaging is designed for presentation purposes and is not suitable for prolong, as it is not airtight.

How to clean your Jewelry

To maintain the original finish of your jewelry, we recommend gently polishing each piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. This helps remove any residue from skin contact, cosmetics, or environmental exposure.

Gold-Plated Jewelry Note: We do not guarantee that our gold plated jewelry will last forever. Gold plated pieces are, by default, more delicate and may gradually lose their color over time. The speed at which the gold plating fades will depend on multiple variables from chemical products used for skincare, level of perspiration or even your natural skin PH. For this reason, it is particularly important to take special care of your gold plated jewelry.

Unlike plated jewelry, solid gold retains its color over time and is naturally resistant to tarnishing, offering enduring beauty with minimal care.

Daily Wear

14K gold is well suited for everyday wear.
To preserve its original finish, we recommend removing your jewelry during intense physical activity or when exposed to harsh substances such as cleaning agents or chlorine.

Care & Maintenance

Over time, solid gold may develop a soft patina or fine surface marks as a result of natural wear. This is an inherent characteristic of precious metals and part of their evolving beauty.

The original finish can be easily maintained with gentle polishing using a soft cloth. For a more thorough restoration, professional polishing will return the piece to its initial appearance.

Diamonds

Diamonds are among the hardest natural materials in the world, yet they should be handled with care. To preserve their brilliance,
we recommend avoiding contact with harsh chemicals and removing your jewelry during activities that may expose it to impact.

Over time, diamonds may appear less radiant due to the accumulation of natural residues such as skin oils or cosmetics. A gentle clean with a soft cloth or mild soapy water will help restore their clarity.

Storage

When not worn, we recommend storing each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box to prevent contact with harder surfaces or other jewelry.

REPLATING & REPAIRS

Repairs

Quality and craftsmanship are central to BONVO. Each piece is carefully handcrafted; however, jewelry, by its nature, remains delicate.

If you require a repair, please contact us at [email protected] , including your order number and a brief description of the issue. Each request is assessed individually.

We offer complimentary repairs for manufacturing defects reported within 30 days of purchase. Repairs requested beyond this period, or those resulting from wear or misuse, may incur a service fee.

Repairs are accepted only for items purchased through bonvojewelry.com. For items purchased through one of our retail partners, we kindly ask that you contact the original point of purchase.

Replating

Gold plating naturally evolves with wear and may gradually fade over time. This process varies depending on usage and exposure.

We offer a complimentary replating service within 6–12 months from the original purchase date. For assistance, please contact us to arrange
the return of your piece.

Beyond this period, we are pleased to offer a replating service for a reasonable fee, ensuring your jewelry can be restored and enjoyed for years to come.
