JEWELRY CARE

All Bonvo jewelry is made of 925 Sterling Silver and receives a plating. We plate with white rhodium or 18K yellow gold. All jewelry is designed to last a lifetime. However as with all jewelry, general wear and tear will occur over time. It is therefore very important to care for your pieces and ensure that their beauty will last longer.

It is actually very easy to care and maintain your Bonvo products as it all depends on how the piece is worn and stored; Please find below some helpful tips that we have put together for you:

How to wear your Jewelry

Please remove jewelry before going to bed or participating in physical activity and make sure you are not wearing whilst swimming or showering. Avoid any exposure to certain harsh chemicals or environments as it will result in compromising the integrity of your jewelry. This includes, but is not limited to the following: perspiration, perfumes, hair spray, cleaning agents, chlorine and salt water.

How to store your Jewelry

Jewelry should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat. We recommend place them in a protective (lined) jewelry box, a tarnish-resistant pouch or in a plastic zip lock bag made of polyethylene. Never use polyvinyl plastic bags. Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom or any humid spot.

Please note that our Bonvo boxes are not made for long-term storage as they are not airtight and tarnishing will occur over time.

How to clean your Jewelry

We know how important is to keep the original brilliance of your jewelry, so we recommend you to use a super soft, dry cloth after each wear and carefully remove any make up or skin cream.

WARNING: We do not guarantee that our gold plated jewelry will last forever. Gold plated pieces are, by default, more fragile and liable to lose their color overtime. The speed at which the gold plating fades will depend on multiple variables from chemical products used for skincare, level of perspiration or even your natural skin PH. For this reason, it is particularly important to take special care of your gold plated jewelry.

SIZING

It is really important to us to make sure that your ring will fits you perfectly. Please, follow carefully our measuring tips below & the attached size chart to find out the correct ring size for you.

Remember that due to temperature changes your finger may shrink in the cold or expand in the heat. The best time to measure your finger is at the end of the day and when your fingers are at room temperature.

Your ring should fit comfortably, so that it is tight enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckles.

In case you are not sure enough, we recommend you to visit a local jeweler and got sized in person.
